Been tinkering with Picasa these past few days. I'm beginning to really like it for it's ease of use and simple but attractive user interface. Among the feature which I really like about it is its ability to churn out XML code for a particular album. Why so?
With the XML file, I can the use a XSL stylesheet to generate a web page according to my liking. This is what I've done with two of my wedding photos. Their new link are:
Ampang I Ampang IIIt's still very basic, though. What I've managed to do is to create thumbnail links from the xml file. When the thumbnail is clicked, the image will be displayed below the thumbnails. Simple eh... There's still a problem with image sizing, though. Maybe some one out there can help me out with that. Hmmmm.. need to read up on XSLTs... Oh.. and also thanks to Michael Suodenjoki. I'm using excerpts from his javascript in this article.
